Please make your own reservation. This is beneficial for several reasons, most of all it puts you in charge of your own experience (getting reminders, ability to reschedule/cancel). If you want to treat a friend, sure, you can have 2 spots reserved under your name, but no multiple bookings (more than 2) under one name.
